Hello Everyone!!
I've got some exciting news! For the past six months, I have been undergoing a metamorphosis. I separated from my husband of 26 years quite unexpectantly, am now in the process of getting a divorce, moved back from California to Texas (where I belong) and have completely changed my life. In the past, I have always enjoyed my scrapbooking as therapy for times when I was stressed or sad. But, this time, even scrapbooking was not effective... at first. So, I started walking. In the beginning, it was an excuse to put my headphones on and blare my music as loud as I could and not think... just walk. Then, when I realized how many calories I was burning... I decided that it was time (past time actually) to get healthy and lose weight. It's been working too... I've lost 47lbs so far, but still have a long way to go. This metamorphosis has just begun...
My other exciting news is that I am SO honored to have been selected as designer on Jinger Adams' Design Team!!! And just look at the creative ladies that I will be rubbing elbows with!
I have recaptured my 'creative mojo' and simply can't wait to share everything with you! This week is gonna be all about CIRCLES! I'll be back with a layout using lots & lots of circles and of course we have to celebrate with a GIVEAWAY!!
Creatively yours,
Tammy

Wow. I've wondered what happened to you. Sorry about your marriage but kudos on the weight loss. Glad you're back. You got me through the early Gypsy updates.(which I only used for a cartridge keeper) Now I use my Gypsy all the time with my E2. Thank you.
Those are some huge changes! Glad you are home (Texas) and kudos on your journey back to health. (I started doing the Walk with Walgreens Celebrity Apprentice style lol). And I'm so glad your creative mojo is back. Congratulations on making the Design Team, looking forward to all your new work!

I've missed you Tammy, and I am so glad to hear that you are back! 26 years is a longgggg time so the changes must be difficult. I'm praying you will continue taking care of yourself and I look forward to seeing your work on this new team! Congratulations, girl, you certainly deserve it!!
Tammy: No sure if congrats is something you say when someone goes through a divorce (maybe?) but I know first hand that CONGRATS are in order for your weight loss.....move.....and your being selected for Ginger's design team. Lucky Ginger for selecting you with all your talent and creative thinkiing - You are going to make an excellent addition to her design team. MANY CONGRATS on all your life improvements and continue with your POSITIVE and HAPPY outlook on life-You are an inspiration to all of us! (signed your friend from Arizona who has been through the divorce, move and weight loss experience!)
Wow! Lots of changes in your life. Although I have not been through divorce, I did decide a couple years back that I needed to put the focus on me and begin to take care of myself first - weight loss, hair style, new clothes, healthy eating, exercise - It has made such a difference in my life! I hope it is a huge positive for you also.
I'm speechless. I feel sad & happy! I have wondered why you haven't been posting and keeping me focused on creativity lately. Well, God Bless You for moving forward and finding the strength to build a better YOU!! I am so looking forward to having you back in my life. Remember during the dark times that you will still face, we love you & support you in all you do. Rebecca
Congrats on making the team and of course the weight loss! Good Luck with all the changes in your life.

When God closes one door he opens another ~ Embrace your new path ~ You are a fantastic giving person ~ Be good to YOU you so deserve it :)
Tammy, you are inspirational to me in many ways, as a woman, a crafter, and as a LOVER of LIFE! Joie de Vivre!! I am so happy for you that you've gone "home" to Texas where you can focus on the you that has been stuck. Yup, stuck underneath the layers of life (weight, marriage) that wouldn't allow the REAL YOU to come out and shine. Seriously, congratulations on not only surviving but THRIVING. OK, so things happen unexpectedly. I got the shock of my life in 1994 when I learned my then-husband was leading a whole different life without me. I picked myself up, packed myself up (along with my daughter), moved on and got through it.
Shoot, have there been challenges? YOU BET! Are there still? YOU BET! I found someone new, remarried (in 1999), and my newbie (AND LAST) hubby is loving and supportive of me and my creative outlets. He lets me be me.
I am SO GLAD for you that right now, you are in a place and time when YOU can allow yourself to be YOU. No "thinking" aloud -- there is no try, just DO.
Congratulations on everything. Jinger (and we all) are lucky to have you!!!
Fondly,

Secondly, congratulations on your health journey & design team selection.
Finally, all my best to you with your life changes (been there, done that). I kind of suspected that's what you were going through with some of your recent words of wisdom/quote pins, but certainly didn't want to pry. You're strong, and will prevail over these hardships.
Blessings...
Praying for your continue strength as you go through these changes. I'm excited to see your creativity and kudos on your weight loss!
Tammy-You look fabulous!! I was pretty sure from some of your Pinterest pins that you were getting a divorce but didn't want to say anything if I was wrong! I also knew California just would NOT be your cup of tea!
It can't be easy to sever a marriage that lasted so long but you have tons of prayers from so many people! Keep true to you and to your heavenly Father and you know life will be amazing!
Tammy, you look fantastic! I did a double take :) It's really true that when a door closes, somewhere God opens a window. Congrats on the new design team and best wishes for continued strength and success in life's challenges.

You Go Girl, Trust me, it is the beginning, the beginning of defining you and being the best you can be. I have missed you, I have been looking for you everywhere, I thought I had gotten disconnected from your link, You are a very talent lady, you helped me with your videos and ideas, Cricut"s explosion had a lot to do with you and the early pioneers. So you now have time in your life to dedicate to being the best "you", you can be. Remember what Nike say's, "Just do it" I love you girl, even though we have never met, I feel like you are an old friend. Hang in there. I am rooting for you and Ginger!!

Hmm there must be some sort of lifestyle change that was in the air about 6 months ago! My life took a dramatic turn as I lost my job. I have had some amazing revelations and am lucky to have a wonderful support system. I keep reminding myself that God has me right where he wants me! Tammy, you are so talented and now you are utilizing a painful thing as your motivation to better yourself... BRAVO! Keep up the GREAT work!
