NEW TESTAMENT: 'Reason for the Season' Card

Hello again!!

I'm featuring the recently released NEW TESTAMENT Cricut Cartridge this week and have a cute & simple Christmas card to share with you!  It's that time ladies (and gents)! If you are planning on making your own Christmas cards, you should be at least designing and gathering your supplies at this point.  If you haven't chosen a design yet, this might be the right one for you!

The card is a standard A2 sized card and I have posted the dimensions below to make it easy for you to duplicate!

A2 CARD Size:  5.5" x 4.25" folded
                           5.5" x 8.5" unfolded
A:  5.25" x 4"
B:  5" x 2"
C:  4.5" x 1.5"
D:  2.5" x 2.5"
Cross:  3"

Easy Peasy!  My inside sentiment is a stamp that says, "REASON FOR THE SEASON".  If you don't have a stamp you want to use, just print it on your computer in a beautiful font and viola!  Your Christmas cards will be done!  Supplies for this card are simple and assembly even simplier.  Remember, if making ALL your Christmas cards by hand is a daunting task for you, then shorten your "Handmade Card List" to include only your closest family and friends and send everyone else a store-bought card.  (sorry everyone else!!)

GIVEAWAY ALERT!!

Don't forget!!  I have an INSPIRED HEART CRICUT LITE cartridge to give away!!!  It has some awesome images (CARD FROM 2010) on it that would be good for Christmas cards too! Winner will be announced tomorrow night, Friday, November 4, 2011.  All you have to do to be eligible to win is make sure you are a follower of my blog and leave a comment.  A lucky winner will be randomly drawn!

Have a great day everyone!!

Creatively yours,

Tammy

Tammy, thanks for posting all of the cards/projects from the New Testament cart. I really like the card you posted today. Would you be able to post some pages from the cart handbook? I haven't seen it on the Cricut info site yet and I'd really like to know what the verses/phrases are on this cart and to see more of the different crosses, too. Thanks a bunch!

I have such a large family that I am already starting my cards for this year, but next year? Oh boy, everyone will be so surprised. Can't wait to get it. Love that cross, Tammy. I grew up Catholic, so am especially thrilled to see a crucifix. After all, that was the ultimate price. Thank you, Jesus!

These are the best instructions for card making I've ever read. When I started out, I didn't even know what an A2 card size was. I bet I'm not the only one new to papercrafting with that question. You take care of all the confusion with these instructions. Your card is beautiful. Until I can get my hands on the new cart., thanks for the opportunity to win one that will help me with my Christmas, Easter and Confirmation cards.

Oh Tammy, What a fabulous job you did on this LO. I am sooo glad Cricut finally made a Christian cart and you are doing a great job of showing all the different possibilities. Keep up the good work--maybe they will make more-- just more to use in our Faith Books. Thank you for all the lovely work you continue to do for us.
