Installing the drivers for CRICUT CRAFT ROOM!

Hello Everyone!!

I have a little video to show you how easy it is to install the drivers for Cricut Craft Room to your computer!  What?  You thought Craft Room was web-based?  It is!!  And totally FREE!  But, if you want to 'cut' with the designs that you make in Craft Room, then you will need to download the Craft Room application and install the drivers to your computer!  It's easy peasy!  Just watch...

Click HERE if you cannot see the video above.

I am soooo excited about this release and cannot to share more of it with you!!!

Creatively yours,

Good morning and thank you! I had wondered if the download needed to happen since this is web based and you answered my question. Now I say, "Duh!" The driver's make sense!

I have a couple of questions though, at this point should I delete Design Studio from my computer? I take it since I have the original Expression I will still need to use my USB when I am ready to cut. Do you know, will I periodically have to update my firmware?

Tammy, thank you so much for your was a HUGE HELP! Have a wonderful day and I look forward to more on your blog regarding the Craftroom! Yea! :)

You made the instructions simple :) BUT, I did click on "Web Version" first and then clicked on the PC box. I didn't get anything after the downloading like you did to check what I wanted and I can't find it in my downloads.
What do I do now?

I love the Cricut Craft Room almost more than my Gypsy. I had so much fun making projects with it today. It worked like a dream and saved me so much paper. It's amazing. Thanks for your helpful videos.

I downloaded CCR this summer and it completely destroyed my Expression. I couldn't even turn it on. Provo Craft replaced it with a used model, but now I am afraid to try this again. What are your thoughts on this. Is it safe?

Thanks for doing the video. When I tried it gave me a security warining and I was a bit afraid. Now my next question is how do you hook up you expression so that it will cut? Your help is very much appreciated.
