Happy Monday to you! I've got alot on my 'to-do' list today, but I wanted to start my day out with you first! I taught my 'Glass Etching with the Cricut' class this past Thursday at my local "SHE'S CRAFTY" store. I love to etch glass and think it is a great way to really personalize gifts. It's also a great gift for the guys in your life! I chose to teach my class with these glass beer mugs, because I also wanted to etch a whole set of 8 for my brother-in-law's 50th birthday this past Saturday (Happy birthday again Steve!). I think that many of you will agree with me when I say it is challenging to 'make' gifts for the guys in our lives, but this is one that I have discovered is always appreciated!
Here are the steps to make your own...
I used DON JUAN for my font.
Here are some of the lovely ladies who attended my glass etching class... they ALL did a great job on their mugs and I'm happy to report that there were NO mistakes! Great job ladies!!
Well, not only is this week HELLO THURSDAY for Provocraft (that means NEW cartridges being released!), but I am also leaving on my last trip for this year! This one is a 'pleasure' only trip with my BFF, Myrel and her two kids! We are going on a cruise out of Florida and then spending a week at Disney World in Orlando! Yes, this is my third cruise this year! Never ever will that happen again and it wasn't even really planned, but just kinda happened, lol. I cruised with Carnival in February out of Galveston, then with Holland America out of Fort Lauderdale and this time it is another Carnival cruise, but leaves out of Port Canaveral, Florida. Yes... I count my blessings everyday and am very thankful for them!
I've got lots planned for you guys though... inspiration for cruise scrapping, disney ideas and my daughter will be sharing her "OPERATION DEPLOYMENT" with you! Take care everyone and have a great Monday!
Creatively yours,
Tammy

Awesome project! Have fun...we just returned from 10 days in Orlando. It was HOT there! The locals said it was unusually hot for this time of year. We had a wonderful time though, and I hope you do as well.

TFS this project I had no idea that glass etching would be so easy. I have a few gifts to make for the holidays and I think I may just give this a whirl. Enjoy you trip and God Bless.
GREAT project Tammy!!!!
I too LOVE to etch glass,
and I totally agree it is so hard to make gifts for the guys....but these are great gifts...
have fun on your trip, my family and I just got back from Disney World, we had so much fun.....
just saying..... I just posted a Disney Autograph book project on my blog, if you are interested in taking a peek at it,
it was fun to make and the kids loved having a book to carry around to get autographs from all the characters, and Cricut has some great Disney Characters to cut out....(as if you didn't know that..hehehe)

Also, have fun on your cruise and at Disney World! Can't wait to see your Disney scrap projects. (Hint hint!)
What a great project! I just taught a class this past weekend too! There is something magic about etching that sends people home so excited to hit the Dollar Tree for all their Christmas needs! Have a fun time on your trip!
All the glasses look amazing, what a great teacher you are. How lucky are you three cruises in a year wow.
