Disney Character Autograph Books

Hello Everyone!!

We got to see Cirque du Soleil's LA NOUBA show at Downtown Disney last night!  WOW!  That was unbelievable!  Today we will be in the MAGIC KINGDOM for the second time, but tonight we are attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in the park!  Fun fun!  Here are some great pics of the autograph books that I made for Michael and Megan and how much fun we had with them in the park!

I bought these index card dividers that are colorful and plastic at Target.  They came with index cards already in them and were bound together by the two clips.

Inside, I turned the index cards around because the top side was ruled and we wanted to autographs to be on the unruled side.

There is a handy pocket on the back.  I used MICKEY FONT for both the front and back of these books and cut black vinyl to personalize them with.

Blue book for Michael... Red book for Megan!

I salvaged a strap with clips from an old backpack and used it on a plastic pencil case that I also bought at Target.  This way Michael could carry around his own autograph book and marker around his waist.  The bag opened from the bottom.

I used MICKEY FONT for the Mickey head and cut their names out of the centers with my Gypsy.

We strung black ribbon through Megan's pencil case so that she could carry it around like a purse.

It worked perfectly.

There they are!

The pencil cases were perfect for them!  The books did not get damaged in our bags and the kids were able to carry them around themselves without any difficulty.

It was so much fun collecting the charater's autographs and pictures!

awwww.......

These books were pretty easy, but I really love how they turned out!

Creatively yours,

Tammy

Tammy, I have to say that was very creative thinking coming up with that idea. It just shows that we are never to young/old to enjoy Disney Charcters. Now take them back home and add even more personalization to them. LOVE IT!

GREAT idea! I know that one of the things that I did not like about the autograph book when my kids wanted to do that was someone had to carry it . . . but your idea solves that problem! And putting them inside plastic keeps them safe from any water rides!

Would you allow me to feature this project on my blog?

Great idea. The bags will protect them on all those wet rides. I love how your son is getting autographs too. Everyone is a kid at Disney. Where's your autograph book?

This is a super project and I really like the zipper on the bottom so that the book can be taken out that way. Very creative
