HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE Imagine Cartridge: "Cute As A Button" LO

Hello Everyone!!

We had a great day at CKC San Marcos today!  Met old friends and made some new ones too!  I LOVE meeting the followers of my blog (Hi Debbie!!) because it helps for me to put faces to the names of you who leave me such encouraging comments.  Truly the comments that you all leave help encourage me to craft more!

I have another HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE Imagine project to share with you.  I know that not everyone here has an Imagine or even wants one.  I personally love it though because of the patterns and papers that you can print. Never fear though, because this layout can be done with the any of the cricuts just by using patterned papers and a different font.

I love a simple color scheme... soft blue, white and black.

IMAGINE CUTS:
--Large scalloped circle (filled and printed with plaid pattern) 10"
--Center square (filled and printed with plaid pattern)  5.5"
--Top embossed square (filled and printed with light blue)  5.5"
--"Cute as a Button" title (cut only with black cardstock)  3"

One of the things that I love about using the Imagine to print my own cardstock is how it all coordinates.  The blue plaid pattern is the same for the scalloped circle and the square, but because they are two different sizes the pattern also is two different scales.  I love that because it is different, yet the same.

Have you seen this cuttlebug folder yet?  No?  Well, that's because it's NEW!!  It is part of a set that coordinates with the new WORD COLLAGE Cricut cartridge.  I think it is AWESOME!

Buttons and bows are mandatory for a baby layout... I'm just saying.  ;-)

I have tons of black cardstock... so I don't feel like it is necessary to use up my Imagine ink cartridges printing this title when I can use the "CUT ONLY" feature and cut it out of black cardstock.  The base page is also a 12"x12" piece of cardstock.

I think that this page would look great in a 12"x12" shadowbox frame and would be an awesome baby gift, what do you think?

If you like this Imagine project, check out the projects that are being shared over at CREATIVE CRITTERZ IMAGINATIONS!  They are giving away a FANCY FRAMES cricut cartridge over there!

Creatively yours,

Tammy

Tammy, this is a fabulous page. I really think this cart is just adorable and I love it already, but I think their timing is really off. I was expecting a really great Christmas themed Imagine cart for this time of year. I am really dissappointed with just a little solutions cart only. Sure hope PC doesn't let me down and that the next Imagine cart will be for Christmas. I would also like to see one that has some traditional red and green patterned papers.
Sorry for the whinning, cause I really do love this cart, and will no doubt be purchasing it, I was just expecting a really great Christmas cart as their next Imagine release.
