BEST OF 2006 Cricut Cartridge

How about a cute little project from the BEST OF 2006 cartridge? There was a great little gift bag that came out on the TAGS, BAGS, BOXES & MORE back in 2006 and is one of the best images of that year.
I cut a yellow flower at 4" for behind my rosette and a yellow scalloped circle at 3.5" for the front of my rosette. My rosette was made with two 12"x1.25" strips of black cardstock. Yes, I am a little rosette crazy right now, so you will probably see a bunch of them from me in the next couple of weeks! LOL! I topped it off with the cute 'be happy' that was also cut from this cartridge at 1".
My cute little bee makes the fifth image from BEST OF 2006 that I used to make this project. He was cut at 2.5" and was attached to a curly pipe cleaner so he can fly above the gift bag.
We are getting bombarded by spring storms here in Texas... 8 tornadoes in the Dallas area yesterday alone! But thankfully it looks like we have a reprieve until Saturday. Hope all is well in your part of the world!

CUTE, Tammy! The little town I grew up in in Kansas had a Yellowjacket as it's mascot, so Bumble Bees were always what we used. There are really not Yellowjacket items out there! So, I am partial to Bees!

Great project. I'm off to take another look at the 2008 cartridge. I see some stuff there I want to look at more. BTW I don't know if anyone else is having problems but I can't get your new blog to work in Google reader even though I'm following it. And it takes a long time to load on my older computer if I go directly to tammyskinner.com I think it is all the stuff in the sidebars.

Cute, cute bag--Boy, I sure don't miss the Spring and Summer storms in Texas--I lived in Austin for 5 years and never got used to them--Have lived in Montana,now, for over 30 years so don't have the tornados,, just severe winter conditions--don't know if that is a tradeoff or not :)

That little gift bag is so cute. I love how you have the bee flying above it. Great idea. I forget about pipe cleaners. I don't use this cartridge and I really should just play with it and some scrap paper. It's amazing all that is on a cart that is rarely used.
I'm so excited about the Best Of carts. I am rather new to Cricut and do not have the older carts.

TGBB is one of my most favorite cartridges and I think it is great that Provo Craft has put out The Best Of cartridges. For those that have just jumped on the Cricut wagon and missed out on the retired cartridges these are great. Neat bag. So glad you missed the worst of the storms. We had had two stormy nights with tornado sirens and power outages here in West Tennessee , some damages mostly to trees and due to trees but few injuries at least.
